One of the most common questions I get asked on the regular is…
“How can I have an internal orgasm?!” followed quickly by
“Are they actually even possible?”
Firstly, yes! They’re absolutely possible. We all have a bunch of powerful pleasure producing nerves within our vagina. Even our cervix (which is often totally overlooked during playtime!) is innervated by the most bliss-inducing of them all – the vagus nerve.
But are they common? Not really.
And here’s why…
Most women find their pathway to pleasure and stick to it. They learn the fastest and most reliable way to pleasure (which for many/most is via the clitoris) and continually recreate that experience – causing a neural groove in the brain which acts like a signpost broadcasting ‘Stay on track! It’s this way to pleasure, don’t get lost now!’
So what happens when we don’t stick to what we know and dare to be different when we play down below?
It feels weird. Or like nothing. Or it becomes annoying.
So we give up and go back to what already feels great. Which is great, pleasure in any form is great. It’s all a win!
But what if you want to add a little more to your sexual repertoire? What if you want to explore, play and discover what other delights your body can deliver?
